Job Description
- Manage appointments on a computerised booking system and keep the diary running on time.
- Update client/patient records accurately after each interaction.
- Invoice and take payment for consultations, treatments and prescribed medication.
- Assist over the counter with basic, non-prescription pet care products.
- Support retail sales and process transactions.
- Receive and count stock; capture deliveries onto the practice system.
- Handle calls and emails promptly.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a veterinary practice is essential
- Intermediate computer skills
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Strong organisation, time management, and multitasking ability in a busy, client-facing environment.
- An empathetic manner and calm professionalism under pressure.
Working hours: Mon–Fri 10h00 to 17h30 and Alternate Sat mornings 09:00–12:00
