About the Role
The Customer Marketing Manager role at Edgexec (Pty) Ltd is a high-impact position that requires driving category growth and shaping shopper strategy at scale. This involves developing and delivering an integrated Sales Out category strategy to maximize basket conversion, drive brand and category growth, and translate commercial objectives into actionable shopper plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Build deep understanding of shopper behaviour and category drivers to unlock growth opportunities
- Develop and contribute to integrated business plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Partner with Marketing to support innovation launches and drive brand participation
- Collaborate with Sales to create and execute customer-specific plans and joint business initiatives
- Lead revenue management initiatives including pricing, portfolio optimisation, and trade investment
- Ensure flawless execution of shopper and trade marketing plans
- Deliver actionable insights through regular performance reviews and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a commercial field
- Minimum 5 years experience within FMCG trade, category, or revenue management
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, analytics, and portfolio management
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and key customers
- Leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams
- Strong analytical and insight generation skills
