About the Role
The Production Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production department, providing administrative support to ensure accurate tracking of production orders and progress. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and maintain production data, job cards, and system updates
- Ensure accurate tracking of production orders and progress
- Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation
- Liaise with production, warehouse, and planning teams to ensure alignment
- Ensure all production-related documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of production activities
- Monitor and report on production performance and variances
- Maintain filing systems and ensure audit-ready documentation
- Support general administrative functions within the production department
Requirements
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing administration role
- Strong experience working on ERP systems (Syspro advantageous)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
