About the Role

The Production Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production department, providing administrative support to ensure accurate tracking of production orders and progress. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and maintain production data, job cards, and system updates
  • Ensure accurate tracking of production orders and progress
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation
  • Liaise with production, warehouse, and planning teams to ensure alignment
  • Ensure all production-related documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of production activities
  • Monitor and report on production performance and variances
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure audit-ready documentation
  • Support general administrative functions within the production department

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a production or manufacturing administration role
  • Strong experience working on ERP systems (Syspro advantageous)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
