About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Creditors Clerk to join our team in Paarl. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing high volumes of accounts payable (creditors) accounts, ensuring effective control of the entire accounts payable function and providing excellent customer service to suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high volumes of accounts payable (creditors) accounts
- Resolve account queries promptly
- Build relationships with suppliers
- Reconcile accurate accounts for payment
- Deal with high volume suppliers and foreign exchange transactions with overseas suppliers
- Maintain contracts with service providers/suppliers
- Allocate payments and reconcile purchases versus invoicing
- Generate reports
- Meet deadlines
- Support the Financial Manager with ad hoc and month/year end functions
Requirements
- Matric
- 3-5 years experience in managing high volumes of accounts payable (creditors) accounts
- Proven experience in fully taking accountability for effective control of the entire accounts payable function
- Ability to resolve account queries promptly
- Experience in building relationships with suppliers
- Experience in dealing with high volume suppliers and foreign exchange transactions with overseas suppliers
- Resolving queries, maintaining contracts with service providers/suppliers, allocating payments and reconciling purchases versus invoicing
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- ERP (SAP, Syspro, etc) software proficiency
- Valid driver’s licence
- Own car
- Clear criminal record
- Clear credit record
