About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Cape Union Mart in Bellville, Tygervalley. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in managing all aspects of the store
- Maximizing turnover and profit
- Minimising shrinkage by monitoring stock-related risks
- Delivering exceptional customer service through implementing a customer experience strategy
- Leading talent selection, training, coaching, retention, and recognition initiatives for all team members
- Implementing innovative visual merchandising to optimize sales
- Implementing all company policies and procedures
- Maintaining health and safety practices
- Optimizing team performance through creating an inspiring environment
- Aligning team members to the Company culture and creating a fun work environment
Requirements
- 3 years of management retail experience
- Matric or Equivalent
- Microsoft Computer Proficiency
- Clear Criminal record
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Honesty in dealing with cash or finances
- Inspirational leadership & passion
- Taking ownership
- Building and maintaining relationships
- Innovation & ability to deal with change management
- Thinking adaptability
