Job Description

Our client, a leading South African fabric, wallpaper and interior soft goods distributor; specializing in textiles, upholstery fabrics, curtain fabrics, outdoor fabrics, wall coverings, and contract fabric collections, is seeking to appoint a dynamic Sales Consultant to join their Durban team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing and servicing an existing client base while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities across Durban and surrounding areas.

This role includes both external and internal sales responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Matric qualification.

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably within the textile industry.

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.

  • Customer service driven.

  • Target driven with a strong sales focus.

  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

  • Excellent people skills and ability to understand client needs intuitively.

  • Ability to deliver professional product presentations.

  • Sales or industry-related qualifications are an advantage.

  • Own reliable vehicle.

  • Well-groomed and professionally presented.
