- Managing and Investigation of crime incidents
- Handling of informers and intelligence
- Management of Informer Rewards
- Ensure that court procedures are fulfilled
- Liaise with HR department concerning disciplinary enquiries to ensure fulfilment thereof
- Liaise with client/SAPS/ Court officials
- Docket inspected as per bring forward system
- Handling of found property exhibits safe
- Data logging on CIIMS
- Standby duties
- Co-ordinating training for Harmony security with service providers
- Good Investigation experience at a Gold Mine; with Fraud cases, commercial crime and general investigations
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:
- Matric
- Driver’s license
- Computer literacy (MS Excel) and Word.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in investigating incidents (criminal as well as departmental)
- Saps, Defence force, and with NIA experience will be an advantage.
- Business Firearm competency – handgun, shotgun and rifle
- Own transport – reliable and economical
- Own Accommodation.
- Have excellent presentation, written, verbal communication and report writing skills.
- PSIRA Grading A
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism to liaise with clients.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
- Work independently.
- Meet deadlines.
- Go the extra mile.
- Good organizer.
- Have 3 years’ experience in the investigation of crime with the SAPS or other institute.
- Experience in a Gold Mine would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
