About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiographer to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our medical imaging service provider, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient x-ray examinations on patients, promoting the image of our practice as a professional and reliable healthcare service.
Key Responsibilities
- Rendering a professional x-ray service to patients
- Referencing clinicians and ensuring optimal use of equipment
- Executing relevant x-ray procedures and protocols
- Ensuring high-quality x-rays and maintaining standards in training, quality assurance, and accreditation
- Protecting patients from over-radiation and colleagues from radiation exposure
- Maintaining patient and radiologist satisfaction with service quality
- Promoting the professional image of our practice
- Booking appointments and managing workflow
- Performing ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements
- National Diploma: Diagnostic Radiography
- Professional registration: HPCSA
- General Radiography experience
- Basic computer literacy
- Language Proficiency: English & Afrikaans
- Previous practical experience in general PACS, x-rays, and theatre (desirable)
Qualifications
- B Tech: Radiography (if applicable)
