About the Role
Our client is a highly specialized and respected intermediary within the commercial insurance and reinsurance space, providing technical underwriting support and expertise to both local and international markets. They are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong individual to join their team as a Reinsurance Contract Wording Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing of Treaty and Facultative Reinsurance Contract Wordings
- Placing slips and cover notes
- Supporting the standardisation and enhancement of reinsurance contract wordings across client portfolios
- Providing guidance and support to internal teams on the interpretation and structuring of policy wordings and clauses
- Assisting with renewal planning processes, ensuring contract wordings are prepared and finalised within required timelines
- Engaging with clients and reinsurance markets on wording-related queries and requirements
- Supporting training initiatives and internal knowledge sharing on reinsurance wordings and structures
- Assisting with gap analysis of client reinsurance programmes and underlying risk portfolios
- Maintaining accurate records, documentation and correspondence with all stakeholders
- Building and maintaining relationships with technical stakeholders within the reinsurance market
