Job Description
- Candidates must have completed a 3-year tertiary qualification (National diploma, degree, diploma) in IT (i.e. National Diploma IT Multimedia, Graphic Design or Bachelor of Information Science Multimedia)
- Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Candidates must have NO criminal record
- Candidates must currently be unemployed
- Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program
- Candidates must not be studying at any other institution (including distance learning)
- Candidates must live in the greater Midrand area (relocation is NOT an option)
- Candidates must be under the age of 35 as of 1 April 2026
- Candidates must be a South African Citizen – African, White, Coloured and Indian
Core Requirements: –
- Audio and video editing for podcasts and digital content production
- Videography support – setting up video equipment, shooting interviews
- Podcast production – recording, editing and publishing podcasts
- Content distribution over social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter)
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Possess excellent command of the English language
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Canva, Figma, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Audacity or equivalent, Adobe creative suite
- Basic videography (operating cameras, setting up lighting. Interview shooting)
- Podcast production, editing and publishing
- Social media content creation and scheduling
- Added skills – familiarity with Spotify for Podcasters, Buzzsprout or similar hosting platforms, Copywriting or caption writing.
