Purpose:
To constantly define and analyse KF target market and identify prospective customers and convert potential customers to loyal returning customers. Continuous engagement with existing clients to ensure that they are satisfied with the customer services and products supplied. Increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Analysis and forecasting services product and service needs to guide sales & marketing strategies, as well as procurement & warehouse planning, with consistent feedback and engagement with these departments. Provide support to sales team by providing customer related information for decision making and establish customer specific solutions.
Responsibilities:

Customer retention
Anticipate customer needs and proactively flag problems before they surface and assist team by escalating, reproducing customer issues until a solution is reached. Gather and analyze data in order to understand problems and address them proactively. Uphold and maintain good customer relationships – value added engagements. Coordinate with team to ensure customer problems and queries are resolved according to set standards and expectations. Retain customers using customer service methods. Customized specific approach and solutions suitable for KF customers. Conduct frequent assessment or gap analysis to maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring suitable customer service and products are provided to customers. Provide assistance and recommendations to sales team to ensure our strategies and approaches remain relevant and can satisfy customer needs. Build relationships with customers providing them with solutions.
Sales Effectiveness
Drive sales strategies provided by utilizing cross selling and upselling methods to achieve targets. Identify current sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies for improvement and development. Identify opportunities to increase sales using strategies that provide more value, give the customer more benefits, and create a better overall experience. Assess customers to help you understand customers needs to uncover products that customers may not want, and encourage customers to buy related products to
increase their basket size. Increasing brand awareness and interest in Kerston Foods products, nurturing interested prospects and convert them into leads and into the sales pipeline. Follow up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with products. Conduct research to find new target markets and penetrate them to drive sales. Develop a way to make products appeal to consumers based on current trends and work with the marketing person to develop new sales strategies. Acts as an expert in selling goods to consumers that meet their needs and desires. Constantly monitor sales against sales targets.
New customers Attraction
Use of negotiating and strategic methods to approach customers
Data analysis and market research to identify opportunities for new client acquisition. Utilize customized strategies to attract and convert new customers convert. Find prospective customers and new target segments, target screening of potential customers prior to contact. Collaboration and alignment between marketing and customer service personnel to implement strategies to market brand and products to new customers. Utilize all promotional material in accordance with the company strategies and guidelines. Generates new leads by meeting with consumers. Keep track of new customers buying trend so you can better target them with future sales and marketing strategies.
Sales Support Services
Updated information and analysis of data provided to the sales department so it can act proactively on the information at its disposal to provide seamless service to customers and achieve sales targets. Provide recommendations for improvement to processes and procedures – Internal sales and external related (where applicable). Collaborate with team members and other departments to identify areas where the company can increase its efforts. Liaise with finance department of client payments and warehouse on stock allocations. Provide support to sales team by providing customer related information for decision making and establish customer specific solutions. Keeping the team updated on customer information and feedback.
