About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Municipal Administrator within a leading property management and development environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective municipal account administration, risk management, and optimization of utility services across a diverse property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage landlord, service provider, and tenant relationships to optimize utility management.
  • Source and verify municipal accounts from supply authorities.
  • Handle tenant and council queries, including the opening of new accounts.
  • Conduct regular reporting, tariff verification, and risk management.

About the Role

The Municipal Administrator will be responsible for assisting with council billing, reporting, and risk management in East London. This role involves managing relationships between Landlord/Service Providers/Tenants to optimize output, as well as providing support to inland teams and functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship between Landlord/Service Providers/Tenants to optimize output.
  • Sourcing Accounts from the respective supply authority.
  • Assist in dealing with Queries (tenant and Council related), as well as opening of new accounts with Council.
  • Regular Reporting and risk management.
  • Utility accounting and administration functions.
  • Provide support to inland team and functions.

Requirements

  • Creditors/Account reconciliations and payments experience essential.
  • Intermediate Excel.
  • Valid Drivers Licence.

We are seeking an experienced Municipal Administrator to manage council billing, reporting, and risk management for utilities in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing utility output through effective relationships with landlords, service providers, and tenants.
