About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Events Co-ordinator to join our luxury hotel team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple events and ensuring seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and deadlines
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the events team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
- Proven experience in events coordination (min 2 years)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Familiarity with event management software and technology
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary education or equivalent experience
