About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Practice Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our growing patient-centric urology practice in Cape Town’s Foreshore area. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of the practice while ensuring smooth and professional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the practice to ensure smooth and professional service delivery
- Manage practice accounts, including billing, reconciliation, and financial administration
- Prepare and send out patient and medical aid invoices timeously
- Supervise and support the receptionist/front-desk function
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient flow
- Ensure a consistently high standard of patient experience
- Maintain accurate administrative and financial records
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations (e.g. HPCSA, POPIA)
- Assist with practice growth initiatives and operational improvements
- Liaise with service providers, suppliers, and referring doctors as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare administration, practice management, or similar role
- Exposure to private medical or specialist practices (highly advantageous)
