About the Role
As a Refrigeration Technician at Communicate Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration systems, performing routine maintenance and fault-finding to keep operations running efficiently. You will work closely with the team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns to keep operations running (and products cold)
- Install and commission new refrigeration equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with the team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Carry out compressor overhauls, maintenance, and performance checks
Requirements
- Solid experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial refrigeration and compressor systems
- Proven ability to install and commission refrigeration and cooling units
- Skilled in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and control faults
- Strong understanding of safety and environmental standards
- Team player who can work effectively with clients and colleagues
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial or commercial refrigeration
- Proven track record with compressor maintenance and repairs
- Red Seal / Trade Test Certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Valid SAQCC Gas – Category B8 (Ammonia refrigeration)
- Valid Code B driver’s license
