About the Role
We are seeking a Trainee Manager in Retail/FMCG for our client in Kimberley, Northern Cape. As a Trainee Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations of the store
- Supervise sales floor staff and provide guidance on customer service standards
- Manage inventory levels and process stockroom activities
- Process cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Provide support to administration team as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Relevant Retail/FMCG qualification (advantageous)
- At least 5 years’ experience in Retail/FMCG across departments (receiving, cash office, administration, sales floor)
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of retail operations and reporting
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); SAP/Unisolv experience an advantage
