About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Front of House Restaurant Manager to lead our busy Morningside café team and maintain high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated leader with excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the front-of-house operations, including staff supervision, stock control, and customer service delivery
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring seamless transitions and efficient use of resources
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation throughout the restaurant
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team performance and knowledge
- Monitor sales, revenue, and profitability, making data-driven decisions to optimize business performance
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in fast-paced, sit-down restaurants
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, with a focus on maintaining calm and composure in challenging situations
Qualifications
- Formal education or relevant qualifications (e.g., hospitality management, culinary arts)
