About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our team as an Assistant Sales Manager (Heavy Trucks) in Germiston, Gauteng. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the heavy truck market, selling OEM heavy trucks to fleet and corporate clients, and achieving and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the heavy truck market
- Sell OEM heavy trucks to fleet and corporate clients (not retail)
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
- Prepare quotations and negotiate deals
- Follow up on leads and manage the full sales cycle
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and results
- Provide after-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work closely with internal teams (finance, admin, logistics)
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (minimum)
- Client network
- 3–5 years’ experience in heavy truck or commercial vehicle sales
- OEM sales experience is an advantage

Salary & Benefits
R15 000-R20 000/month, dependent on experience. Medical aid and provident fund to be discussed during interview.
