About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House/Lodge Anchor to join our team at Luxury Lodge in KwaZulu Natal. As the face of our establishment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience. You will also stand in as the lodge manager while on leave, requiring strong leadership skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and hosting of guests
- Deadline orientated and a good eye for detail and ability to multitask
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Weekly Hosting
- Stock taking and month ends
- Respond to website, email and telephonic enquiries accurately, timeously and courteously
- Handle guest enquiries while establishing rapport with guests during booking process
- Maintain effective customer relationships and actively resolve guest complaints
- Ensure accurate detailed capturing of reservations (providing accurate information, quoting, booking, etc.)
- Maintain client database to ensure all guest information/details are complete
- Assist with maintaining an efficient administration system within the department
Requirements
- At least 2 years Front of House supervisory or 3 years FOH experience
- Previous 4/5 star lodge/hotel experience (Essential)
- Must be of Sober habits
- Excellent Customer Relations
- Experience in Semper (Highly Beneficial)
- Fluent in MS Office, MS Word & MS Excel
- Excellent command of the English
- High level of telephone etiquette and excellent all-round communication skills
- Professional and well groomed
- Driver’s license (Essential)
Salary & Benefits
R 10 000 – R 12 000 per month (Depending on experience)
Single Accommodation and meals
3 weeks on, 1 week off
Starting Date: ASAP
