About the Role
The Site Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring consistent execution of logistics and supply chain processes, and maintaining a fully compliant OHSA safety file. This role requires strong operational discipline, administrative capability, and proven people management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management & Service Delivery: Oversee daily site operations; ensure consistent execution of logistics and supply chain processes; implement corrective actions when performance falls below required standards.
- Staff Management & Leadership: Manage workforce planning, scheduling, and labour allocation; conduct performance management and one-on-one engagements; enforce company policies, attendance standards, and code of conduct.
- Administrative & Compliance Management: Ensure accurate timekeeping, timesheets, and payroll inputs; maintain strict compliance with industry standards and internal policies; manage all required documentation, reporting, and record-keeping.
- SOP & Process Control: Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and business processes; review and implement process improvements where required; ensure ongoing staff training and compliance with procedures.
- Health, Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a fully compliant OHSA safety file; conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions; enforce PPE usage and site safety standards.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the client; maintain professional communication and strong working relationships; escalate and resolve operational risks and service delivery issues.
- Daily Operational Control: Conduct regular floor walks and site inspections; manage shift handovers and daily action plans; maintain asset registers and equipment tracking systems.
- Accountability & Performance Ownership: Take full responsibility for site performance and deliverables; proactively resolve operational challenges; ensure consistent adherence to operational standards and expectations.
