About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Claims Administrator with a proven track record in marine claims management to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing claims from registration through to finalization while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Register and maintain all motor, non-motor, and marine claims on existing policies
- Manage claims end-to-end in accordance with internal mandates and procedures
- Provide consistent and accurate updates to Brokers and Client Liaison teams via phone and email
- Respond to client queries and provide professional claims support
- Handle recoveries and Third Party claim processes
- Ensure all marine claims are processed in line with policy terms, marine insurance principles, and industry standards
Requirements
- Full qualification at NQF Level 4 Class of Business Training (including marine, where applicable)
- FAIS Regulatory Exam (RE5)
- Minimum of 23 years claims administration experience, including marine claims (essential)
