About the Role

We are seeking a Tableau Report & Visualisation Developer to support the Financial Services division in Cape Town City Centre. The role will focus on designing and delivering high-quality dashboards and reports that provide clear insights into sales performance across financial services products, enabling the business to better understand and grow revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports for financial services performance tracking.
  • Build visualisations that clearly communicate sales trends, product performance, and customer behaviour.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, visually compelling, and aligned to business needs.
  • Analyse data related to financial services products (e.g. money transfers, value-added services).
  • Optimise and enhance existing reports for performance, usability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting and deliver additional insights.

Requirements

Strong experience with Tableau (Desktop & Server) for dashboard development. Proven track record building sales/performance dashboards. Experience working in financial services environments (banking, fintech, payments, retail financial services, etc.). Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets. Solid understanding of data modelling and data visualisation best practices. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Experience working with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
