Job Description

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (TypeScript) Build and optimise RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems Implement caching, queuing, and data optimisation strategies Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers Requirements 5 years of backend development experience Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript Solid experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, optimisation, transactions) Experience with Redis (caching, queues, pub/sub) Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices Experience with Docker and containerised environments Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS advantageous) Strong problem-solving and communication skills
