About the Role
Network International is seeking a Finance Controller to lead the financial operations of its multinational trading and distribution business. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial leadership and analytical insight to enable sound business decisions, reporting directly to the Country Head (Kenya) and the Group CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop financial strategies, including risk minimisation and opportunity forecasting.
- Oversee high-level financial reporting, analysis, and management of information systems (MIS).
- Lead budget consolidation and manage cash flow and treasury operations, including banking relationships.
- Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with statutory and financial regulations.
- Drive cost efficiency and continuous process improvement across the business.
- Manage debt collection, tax submissions, and finalisation of financial statements.
- Provide investment insights and support major commercial decisions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to achieve strategic business goals.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (India) qualification required.
- 5–6 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in banking and treasury operations, with experience in working with leading banks in Kenya.
- Experience within the trading and distribution industries is highly preferred; manufacturing experience will also be considered.
- Exposure to SAP is an advantage.
