About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our management team as a Duty Manager at THE Pretoria Hotel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service across all departments.
- Manage guest relations, handle complaints professionally, and ensure service recovery where required.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance to maintain operational excellence.
- Ensure safety, security, and cleanliness standards are upheld.
- Lead and support staff on shift, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Complete shift reports and handovers accurately.
- Be an ambassador of THE Pretoria Hotel in every action they take to ensure business growth and building the brand.
Requirements
Proven hospitality experience. At least 1 year Hotel receptionist experience. Full knowledge of the hotel software system Hotsoft. Excellent communicator. Excellent timekeeping record. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Flexible to work shifts.
