About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Manager to join our luxury safari lodge team in Bela-Bela, Limpopo. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and overseeing various aspects of lodge operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the full day-to-day running of the lodge
- Hosting guests and ensuring exceptional guest experiences
- Overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, Maintenance, and Activities
- Staff leadership, training, and operational support
- Acting as Relief Manager when required
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar management role
- Previous luxury lodge/safari lodge experience preferred
- Strong understanding of lodge operations & Rooms Division
- Opera/Opera Cloud experience essential
- Excellent leadership & communication skills
- Guest-focused with a hands-on management style

No formal education or certifications are required for this position.
Salary & Benefits
R25,000 – R27,000 per annum, depending on experience. Live-in accommodation, meals on duty, uniform provided, and access to a Provident Fund are also offered.
