About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in the Engineering industry is urgently seeking a Professionally registered Electrical Engineer with expertise in project management and electrical systems to join their team in Bloemfontein.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee projects from condition assessment, inception, to project handover stage with minimal to no supervision (Stage 01 – 06)
- Handle project financial management including budgeting, payment certification, cost reporting, and final accounts with minimum to no supervision
- Manage medium to large size projects (service value of +R10million to +R30million) with minimal supervision
- Prepare accurate cashflows and capture projects for monthly invoicing
- Liaise with finance regularly to provide cashflows for monthly invoicing
- Train and mentor junior employees
- Adhere to Engineering Procedures and documentation standards as per MEKAN QMS System
- Engage in client liaison, professional teams engagements, meetings, and site supervision
- Write quality technical reports and conduct feasibility studies
Requirements
- BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering
- ECSA Registration (Pr. Eng)
- Project Management Certification (advantageous)
- +5 years experience post qualification in the Building Services Sector with ECSA Registration OR
- +8 years experience post qualification in the Building Services Sector without ECSA Registration OR
- +12 years experience post Matric in the Building Services Sector without tertiary qualification nor ECSA registration
- Competence in Lighting, Small Power Design and Reticulation, UPS, NurseCall, Transformer Installation, Emergency Power System Design, Fire Detection System Design, Public Address System Design, and other Electrical Systems for Building Services

- Salary: R1.2Mil – R900K, negotiable
