About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client’s team in Cape Town. This position offers a competitive salary of R210K per annum and provides an excellent opportunity for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other payment requests
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices and expenses
- Review and reconcile vendor statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Resolve any payment discrepancies or issues
- Maintain vendor files and documentation
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports
- Provide support to the Accounts Payable team as needed
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
