About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Lead – Costings to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring that costings are closely monitored and prepared with high accuracy. You will work closely with shipping lines and freight suppliers to manage costings and estimates in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitoring all shipments – Shipments that have been berthed daily to establish which costings remain outstanding.
• Requesting for final clearing and shipping line documents.
• Compiling of Estimated costs on shipments.
• Compiling of Costings – Finalizing costings based on documentation received from the shipping lines and freight suppliers.
• Capturing of final costings on NetSuite.
• Capturing of price changes on NetSuite.
• Compiling Cross Boarder Costings (Namibian Stores).
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with advance Excel experience required.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
Qualifications
Matric and qualification with costings background or similar qualification is minimum requirement.
