About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth through new client acquisition and support. You will engage with inbound leads, build proposals, and contribute to the development of our CRM system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with inbound leads via phone, email, and client meetings
  • Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into opportunities
  • Prepare and build proposals for new clients
  • Update and maintain CRM system
  • Contribute to top-line revenue growth through new client acquisition and support outbound and conversion efforts
  • Research new business developments, sales techniques, and tools and integrate best practices
  • Identify potential new target markets and generate leads lists
  • Correspond and follow up with potential clients
  • Support outbound lead generation management and improvements to the tech stack
  • Assist in creating new business avenues and improving sales processes

Requirements

  • Marketing or Business Management Diploma/Certificate
  • 58 years experience in Sales and Business Development
  • Proven experience selling to founders, C-suite executives, or senior decision-makers
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully selling high-value, consultative services
  • Experience selling virtually in remote or hybrid environments
