About the Role
A company operating within the corporate services and professional services sector is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced finance professional to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring that financial transactions are processed in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Debtors and collections management
- Creditors processing and supplier reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations and cashbook management
- Processing and monitoring payments
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting financial reporting
- Assisting with month-end processes and financial reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis where required
- Ensuring compliance with internal financial procedures and accounting standards
- Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters
Requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience working with accounting systems and financial reporting tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and general tax administration (advantageous)
Qualifications
BCom Accounting Degree or relevant tertiary qualification
