About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving financial excellence and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile IFRS-compliant financial information, annual financial statements, and reporting packs
- Monitor monthly trial balances, balance sheet reconciliations, and forecasting processes
- Provide tax reporting and cash flow management services
- Oversee debtors and creditors, maintaining fixed asset registers
- Develop and guide a high-performing finance team
- Support sound decision-making and operational success through financial expertise
Requirements
- BCom degree
- CA(SA) qualification
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience within an FMCG environment is advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Highly organised, deadline-driven, and capable of functioning independently
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: BCom degree and CA(SA) qualification
