About the Role
We are seeking a polished and personable Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests in our high-end restaurant set on a beautiful wine estate. As the face of our establishment, you will ensure a seamless arrival experience for all guests, balancing warmth and professionalism while managing the smooth flow of service from arrival to seating.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and seat guests
- Manage the reservations book using Dineplan
- Handle guest enquiries via telephone and email with professionalism and efficiency
- Coordinate table allocations and manage guest flow during busy service periods
- Assist with general administrative duties related to reservations and guest management
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar hostess or front-of-house role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-groomed, professional presentation
- Ability to manage a busy reservations book and juggle multiple priorities
- Comfortable working day shifts, including weekends
- Own reliable transport essential
