About the Role
The Fleet Controller position is a critical component of our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient material flow. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing fleet and logistics control, maintaining warehouse accuracy, and supporting production supply through effective stock oversight and control.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor raw material levels and coordinate logistics to ensure smooth material flow
- Maintain MRP integrity and categorise and record all materials accurately
- Supervise staff (including drivers and warehouse controllers), enforcing safety standards and ensuring compliance with storage and inspection protocols
- Liaise with production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to resolve operational issues efficiently
- Support warehouse operations by maintaining inventory governance and controlling warehouse accuracy
Requirements
- 3-5 years of fleet/logistic experience within a manufacturing or supply chain environment
- BCom in Supply Chain or Logistics qualification
- Strong understanding of stock control principles, cycle counting, and ERP/MRP systems
- Experience in supervising staff and coordinating warehouse operations
