About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all instrumentation, control systems, visualization and information management is performed optimally and aligned with operational and reporting requirements in a fast-growing global company in the Food and Beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the maintenance, management and optimization of all instrumentation, control systems, and SCADA visuals, industrial networking and production information management on all sites.
  • Managing requests from all parties to ensure the system remains optimal and fit for purpose in line with world class manufacturing standards.
  • Managing the critical spares requirement for all electronics and instrumentation.
  • Initiate and execute innovations and process improvements, either through continuous improvements or larger projects.
  • Managing and negotiating with external suppliers to ensure cost effective management of instrumentation and controls.
  • Ensure production and equipment data and information are available where and when it is required.
  • Implementing of best-in-class strategies to reduce costs and constant improvement of processes.

Requirements

  • Experience within the Food & Beverage industry is essential.
  • Strong exposure to instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA systems, and historians in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering.

Salary & Benefits

Up to R55 000 per month, with a 13th cheque start date of 1 July 2026.
