About the Role
As a Mechanical Supervisor in our Cape Town City Centre facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal working condition of all equipment, machinery, buildings, and facilities to support productivity and plant efficiency. You will be responsible for managing mechanical staff and contractors, overseeing continuous maintenance on plant machinery, and coordinating the implementation of mechanical projects within set timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical staff and contractors
- Oversee continuous maintenance on plant machinery

- Contribute to maintenance planning
- Conduct compulsory inspections on critical machinery

Requirements
- N4 Mechanical qualification
- Qualified, trade-tested Fitter
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar environment
- 5 years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Strong planning, organising, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage conflict
- Effective communication skills
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to work well under pressure
