About the Role
We are seeking a confident and commercially minded Sales Representative to become the face of our client’s brand across the Western Cape. This is an opportunity to build lasting relationships, influence buying decisions, drive product performance, and make a real impact in-store.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and growing a portfolio of retail stores throughout the Western Cape
- Building strong relationships with store managers and key decision-makers
- Driving sales growth through product visibility, promotions, and strategic store engagement
- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring products are always available and displayed to their full potential
- Ensuring merchandising standards are maintained and products are market-ready
- Coordinating exciting in-store activations, promotions, and product launches
- Following up on orders, deliveries, and customer queries to ensure exceptional service
- Acting as the eyes and ears of the business, identifying opportunities and providing valuable market feedback
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in external sales within the wholesale and retail environment
Proven success working directly with store managers and retail decision-makers
Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills
Strong commercial awareness and a passion for achieving targets
A self-starter who thrives independently and takes ownership of results
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage across diverse cultures and backgrounds
Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the region
