About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled CA(SA) to join our team on a contract basis in Cape Town City Centre. This is a high-impact role that requires immediate availability, with a focus on ensuring the business is audit-ready and compliant with all reporting and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-end reporting and financial close
- Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Audit preparation and support
- Year-end reporting and AFS support
- Tax and VAT compliance
- Customs-related finance requirements
- Insurance documentation and renewals
- Statutory compliance tracking and follow-up
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) registration
- Strong technical ability across reporting, audit, and compliance
- Comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to engage with auditors and external stakeholders confidently
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach
Qualifications
- Formal education: Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent
- Relevant professional experience: 5+ years (desirable)
