About the Role

We are seeking a commercially minded SEO & Web Optimisation Specialist to drive organic growth, website performance, and conversion optimisation across our digital platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies that improve rankings, traffic, and search visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve rankings, traffic, and search visibility
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO performance reporting
  • Manage on-page SEO, internal linking, and content optimisation
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve indexing, crawl, duplicate content, and mobile usability issues
  • Improve Core Web Vitals, website speed, and overall web performance
  • Manage XML sitemaps, redirects, canonicals, robots.txt, and crawl health
  • Optimise Shopify-based websites for SEO and conversion performance
  • Support conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and user experience improvements
  • Work closely with developers on technical implementation and optimisation projects

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification

3-5 years relevant experience

Proven experience in Technical SEO, eCommerce SEO, and Web Optimisation

Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO auditing tools

Shopify experience advantageous

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Experience within retail, FMCG, hospitality, or eCommerce environments (advantageous)

Basic HTML/CSS understanding

UX/UI optimisation exposure
