About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Receptionist / Guest Experience Agent to join our Front Office team in Cape Town. As a guest-facing and operational role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests while maintaining high standards of efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally
  • Manage reservations, room allocations, and guest profiles on Opera PMS
  • Provide accurate information and assistance to guests throughout their stay
  • Handle guest queries, requests, and basic complaints with professionalism
  • Liaise with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness
  • Maintain front desk standards and administrative accuracy
  • Support Guest Relations and Duty Management during peak periods
  • Deliver a consistent and welcoming guest experience

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services
  • Experience working in a busy hotel environment
  • Opera PMS experience is essential
  • Strong guest service and communication skills
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • South African ID
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Relevant Hospitality qualification (advantageous)
