We currently have an exciting opportunity based at our Johannesburg office for a motivated Logistics Intern to join our Operations team and gain hands-on experience in project coordination, manufacturing logistics, and supply chain processes.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a curious, organised, and proactive graduate who is eager to learn about the operational side of shopper marketing and manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone interested in logistics, project coordination, supply chain processes, and operations management.

The successful candidate will support the Project Management and Operations teams in coordinating logistics activities, tracking project timelines, managing documentation, and assisting with communication between internal teams and suppliers.

Job Description / Responsibilities

Logistics & Project Coordination

• Support the Project Manager and Operations team with the coordination of manufacturing and logistics activities.
  

• Assist in tracking project timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.
  

• Help monitor project progress and flag potential delays or operational challenges.
  

• Maintain organised records of project documentation including reports, meeting notes, and project updates.
  

Operational & Supply Chain Support

• Assist in coordinating communication between internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  

• Support the tracking of production orders, deliveries, and supplier timelines.
  

• Help monitor inventory movements and logistics schedules related to projects.
  

• Assist with supplier communication and documentation when required.
  

Administrative & Reporting Support

• Maintain accurate project files, documentation, and operational records.
  

• Assist with preparing project status reports and operational updates.
  

• Support the operations team with data capturing and internal reporting.
  

• Ensure project documentation and communication are properly recorded and stored.
  

Problem Solving & Continuous Learning

• Assist the operations team in identifying potential risks or delays within project timelines.
  

• Support basic troubleshooting activities related to logistics coordination.
  

• Contribute ideas to improve operational processes and project coordination efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Technical Skills
