Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a meltshop team to consistently meet output and quality targets
• Drive productivity by identifying and reducing downtime and inefficiencies
• Analyse operational performance and implement corrective actions where needed
• Oversee shift activities, ensuring smooth handovers and clear communication
• Work closely with engineering and support functions to resolve plant issues
• Maintain strong safety standards and enforce compliance at all times
• Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and build a high-performing workforce
• Compile shift reports, track incidents, and ensure operational transparency

Requirements

• ±8 years’ experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical environment
• Solid understanding of production processes and plant operations
• Strong technical mindset with exposure to mechanical and electrical systems
• Proven ability to lead teams in a demanding, target-driven environment
• Confident communicator with good problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working shifts, including nights and overtime when required
• Knowledge of safety standards and operational best practices
