About the Role

Our client, a leading luxury safari company, is seeking two experienced Trainers to join their Cape Town team. As a Trainer with our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programmes for Sales and Operations teams, driving service excellence across teams and enhancing overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programmes for Sales and Operations teams
  • Onboarding new employees, facilitating ongoing skills development, and ensuring all staff are aligned with company systems, processes, and product knowledge
  • Identifying skills gaps, developing training materials, and delivering engaging sessions across a variety of topics such as itinerary building, CRM systems, and operational workflows
  • Collaborating closely with management, HR, and department heads to ensure training aligns with business objectives
  • Maintaining training content, adapting materials as systems evolve, and supporting a culture of continuous learning within the organisation

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years experience as a Travel Consultant within a luxury safari or inbound tourism environment (essential)
  • Strong understanding of safari logistics, routing, and operational flow
  • Experience building and managing itineraries
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) and itinerary platforms (Tourplan/Wetu-type systems advantageous)
  • Experience with ResRequest or similar systems beneficial
  • Previous training or facilitation experience advantageous
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills
