Job Description

Minimum Requirements

BCom Degree or Diploma in Accounting
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an accounting or audit practice
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting principles
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
Assist with tax-related work and submissions
Handle statutory registrations and submissions including UIF and COIDA
Assist with administration relating to trusts and wills
Reconcile bank accounts, creditors, and debtors
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and statutory requirements

Advantageous Skills

Experience using Sage Accounting Software
Exposure to payroll processing and payroll systems
Experience working with multiple client portfolios

Personal Attributes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
High level of integrity and confidentiality
