Job Description

Our client is looking for a driven and ambitious Assistant Finance Manager to join their high-performing finance team. If you’re passionate about finance, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are ready to grow into a leadership-focused role, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership, gain exposure to strategic financial operations, and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the business’s financial function.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Monitoring cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies
  • Assisting with audits and statutory reporting
  • Supervising finance staff and providing support where needed
  • Overseeing the Fleet and Stores department while supporting the Finance Supervisor
  • Analysing financial data and preparing insightful management reports
  • Supporting payroll processes and strengthening financial controls
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and cost-saving initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Previous supervisory experience advantageous
  • Experience within the security industry beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication abilities
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of integrity and professionalism
