Job Title: Debtors Clerk Place of Work: Westville Scope and General Purpose: To assist management with the day-to-day compilation and completion of all financial and statistical returns required by the company Responsible to: Accounting Manager Assistant accountant Financial Manager Executive Director Hours of Work: Maximum of 45hours per week Duties & Responsibilities Customer Account Management Create, update, and maintain accurate customer account records; process invoices, credit notes, and payment allocations. Debt Collection Reconcile accounts, identify overdue payments, follow up with customers, and escalate unresolved debts. Accounting Support Assist with reconciliations, cashbook processing, and month-end/year-end procedures. Reporting Generate weekly sales reports and debt status updates. Customer Service Handle account queries, resolve billing issues, and communicate with both customers and internal teams.
