About the Role
The Engineer in Training (EIT) position is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience and develop technical skills in electrical engineering and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the engineering team by performing technical tasks
- Providing technical support in electrical, automation, and mechatronic systems
- Assisting with engineering projects related to electrical installations, control systems, and automation
- Collecting, monitoring, and analysing production and equipment performance data
- Preparing technical reports, documentation, and performance summaries
- Participating in troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives for electrical and automated machinery
Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Ability to understand technical concepts
- Self-disciplined and conscientious approach to work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to perform physical work when required
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric
- BTech / Advanced Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
