About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Group Finance Manager CA(SA) to lead the financial function for a diverse group of over 15 companies. This office-based role in Port Elizabeth requires a strong leader who can drive reporting excellence and maintain the highest standards of financial integrity across a complex corporate structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Consolidated Reporting: Take full ownership of the monthly reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple divisions.
- Audit Management: Act as the primary lead for external audits, managing the process end-to-end and reviewing all supporting documentation.
- Banking & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for financial institutions, including the sign-off of financial documentation and management reports.
- Process Optimization: Drive the continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls in collaboration with the Financial Controller.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy of core financial data, asset registers, and underlying accounting records for the entire group.
Requirements
- Qualification: CA(SA) non-negotiable.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in a Finance Manager or similar senior role.
- Group Oversight: Proven track record of managing finance functions across a large group (15+ entities) with complex consolidated reporting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills are essential.
- Systems: Experience with modern online accounting and ERP systems (e.g., Xero, Zoho Books, Sage Intacct).
- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Port Elizabeth (Onsite/Office-based).
