About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall performance and profitability of both the Service (Workshop) and Parts Departments. This includes achieving manufacturer and dealership targets, maintaining quality standards, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring effective team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality of service delivery and profitability.
- Manage workshop flow and resolve operational issues.
- Liaise with OEMs regarding technical and warranty matters.
- Implement effective workshop processes to improve turnaround times.
- Maintain a high-performance and customer-focused culture within the workshop team.
- Ensure profitability and control over stock and inventory levels.
- Conduct regular stock takes (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
- Manage daily cash outstanding and aged stock.
- Ensure all parts sales targets and manufacturer requirements are met.
- Visit distributors, trade outlets, and fleet owners to promote parts and accessories.
- Ensure correct application of discount structures and return of exchange items.
- Safeguard company property and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Develop and implement departmental marketing strategies.
- Drive a high-performance culture through team motivation and development.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and OEM standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure customer satisfaction targets are met.
