About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team in Ermelo. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial department, providing payroll input, and driving high performance culture within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Department: Timeous and accurate financial management reports for Dealerships by 7th of each month.
- Apply Company Policies: Extract reports, communicate with General Manager regarding parts aging, demo depreciation, used deprecation, and other policies.
- Reconciliations: Monitor control accounts and perform regular reconciliations.
- Cashbook Management: Regularly maintain cashbook via bank manager, monthly cashbook reconciliations for all bank accounts, and receipt of vehicle payments and sundry invoices from banks.
- Warranty and Incentive Payments: Allocate warranty payments and incentives when statements are received from OEMs, and follow up on unpaid warranty claims.
- Payment Documentation: Monitor payment documentation, load daily payments to General Manager for authorisation, and follow up on outstanding debtor and creditor balances over 60 days.
- Service and Parts Cash Outstanding: Enquire weekly with managers and service advisors/salespersons regarding outstanding amounts.
- Assistance: Provide assistance to all departments, including logging tickets on Evolve Support Portal if necessary.
Requirements
- BCom Accounting with articles
- 3 Years Articles experience
- 2 Years post articles experience
Qualifications
- Formal education in Accounting (BCom) with articles completed
